TendAR is an augmented reality app created by the LA-based company Tender Claws, featuring Guppy, a virtual pet that feeds on your emotions. Guppy evolves based on players' facial expressions, on its ultimately troubled path towards sentience. 

In 2017-2018, Piehole became a writer's room for this project, working with Tender Claws’ co-director Samantha Gorman as head writer, with a focus on fostering 2-player interactions. This 10 minute augmented reality experience was featured at Sundance 2018, and was the winner of the IndieCade Innovation in Interaction Award in 2018.
