HELP PIEHOLES PIEHOLE
Why Are We Doing This?
Piehole is committed to holding together contradictory ideas, unlikely source materials, and contrasting images in a collective pursuit to expand our perceptions, and to become more comfortable with ambiguity. We gather community around this very action in the belief that the ability to accept uncertainty leads to a greater humanity and understanding of difference. The world is continuing to prove its horrors and injustices on a daily basis, and while we don't claim to single-handedly foster world peace or anything like that, we have a strong conviction that small, in-person gatherings around complex, live art can have residual effects on a larger scale, by acting simultaneously as a healing force and an interrogative force, gently drawing people, including ourselves, out of their comfort zones. How Can You Help? Donate...
$ MONEY $
We believe in what we do, but this does not mean that the time, talent, skills, energy and love that our artists place in their work should go unpaid. Art-work is still work, and deserves to be recognized with monetary compensation. In addition to artist fees, we also need to cover production, administrative, and marketing costs. We raise money by throwing sensational fundraising parties, applying for grants, and selling handmade merch, but we also rely heavily on financial contributions generously made by members of our community. That's YOU!

REHEARSAL SPACE
We are always looking for rehearsal space, so if you are in the position to donate some, the pies in your future would literally be endless.
DIGITAL SPACE
Include Piehole events in your e-blasts, or post about us on social media - taggy posts especially welcome!
TIME
There are lots of ways to give time to Piehole: we seek crafters (or crafter-wannabes) to help us build materials for our shows, volunteers to work or play at our concert / parties, and participants to attend small workshops of our shows in development. Email us and we can add you to the list of volunteers -- let us know if you want to build, work, play, or all three.
But above all, especially if you're new to Piehole, come see our work! We'd love to welcome you to the Piehole world, and share what we do with you.

Like Us On Whozit! Follow Us on Whatzit!
"Like" our Facebook page (Piehole) and followed us on Instagram (@pieholed) to learn about upcoming events, and to see behind-the-scenes pictures of stuff we think is funny --mostly people with stuff on their heads. Beyond social media, you can give us other kinds of social boosts: Tell us you think we're "ok!" Tell your friends you think we're "outstanding!" Even better, tell them to "see for yourselves!" Review us. Get sentimental with us. Dance with us. Remember us when we're gone.
Hire us
Piehole's got skills. Our members teach ensemble theater and theater history/theory for adults as well as after-school programs for children on everything from stop-motion animation to robotics. We are illustrators, painters and production designers. We organize concerts and parties in unlikely places, and we do it all well. If you're interested in what people have hired us to do, or you have an idea you'd like to discuss, please email us.
