Laboratory of Performing Objects (LOPO)

The Laboratory of Performing Objects (LOPO) is a group of pseudoscience-artists who investigate the performance potential of inanimate things. LOPO manifested as a research project and series of experiments conducted in 2013 at Columbia University, during Piehole member Tara Ahmadinejad's graduate studies there. The experiments primarily focused on the performance potential of paper, but the study can be applied to other materials and objects as well.
