On June 5, 2010, Piehole collaborated with Lea Bertucci and Ed Bear on Mutator. This seven-hour installation/performance was shaped by three brief, live performances at 1336 Dekalb Ave. Thanks to all who attended!
On December 5th, 2009, PIEHOLE held a tremendously successful musical baked goods video fundraising event at our forgiving friend Shepherd’s Magicland. We were overcome with the generosity of our friends and strangers. We teared up at breakfast the next day. Thanks for enabling our what’s next!
“A Little Love Story” is a toy theater piece we performed at Cameo Gallery in July, as part of the Co-Op’s Obsession-themed show. This piece is part of a larger performance, Love & Geography, which we will be performing at Vox Populi in Philadelpia on Sept. 11-13, as part of the Philly Fringe. We will bring the show to NYC at HERE Arts Center on Oct. 2-4.
The text for this performance was adapted from Bjornstjern Bjornson’s Love and Geography.
Adaptation and Direction by Tara Ahmadinejad. Puppet Design by Jeffrey Wood. Technical Direction: Elliot B. Quick and Ross Cowan. Performances by Allison LaPlatney, Alice Winslow, Elliot B. Quick, and Emily Friend Roberts.
We went upstate to make a film version of Tenticle: A Canticle, directed and masterminded by Danny Cannizzaro, seen here at left traversing the distance as our scout to the unknown:
